LIME HOUSE IS COMING TO THE EAST!
Singapore - 17 May 2022 - Set in a heritage four-storey shophouse in Chinatown’s Keong Siak belt, Lime House opened its doors in 2013 and introduced the Caribbean concept of liming that celebrates the art of doing nothing while sharing food, drinks, conversation and laughter. What better location to open the second branch of Lime House Caribbean Restaurant & Bar than at East Coast, an area popularly known for its laid back vibe?
Inspired by all things Caribbean, Lime House puts you at ease as you tuck into a delicious menu of traditional Caribbean dishes with an Asian twist and an extensive rum collection. From spicy shrimp and Bajan fish tacos to Trinidad roti with curry goat and the famous Jamaican jerk chicken, you can kick back and relax with a rum cocktail house special in hand.
We have brought over many of our popular staples such as our Signature Jerk BBQ Chicken, Tribajam Curry Goat and Granny’s Stew, our homemade rum-injected Lime House Chocolate Mousse, along with our extensive rum menu.
Now Serving Lunch!
What is different about our new outlet though is that we are now open for lunch, Tuesdays to Sundays. New and exclusive for lunch at our East Coast outlet include Fried Parrot Fish with Calypso Rice ($22), which comes with long fragrant rice mixed with bell peppers, carrots, garlic, okra, onion and pineapple along with a side of lime slaw (a Jamaican staple).
For the Vegetarians…
For the vegetarians, we have not left you out! Our Doubles ($14) of curried chickpeas and tamarind with mango chutney on homemade barra bread is always a crowd favourite, and new on the menu is the Impossible Croquettes with Calypso Rice ($16).
Happy Hour Happiness
Happy Hour also starts early from 3 - 6 p.m. with $12 drink specials. Come enjoy our Planter’s Punch, Dark ‘n’ Stormy and Lime House Punch, or our own beers, Bess Pils and All Yuh Lager (brewed locally by Trouble Brewing).
Punch Carafes and New Dinner Items
If you cannot get enough of our drinks, slip into the rest of the night of revelry with jars of yummy Lime House Punch ($78), and enjoy the newly added Tropical Spicy Chicken Wings ($14), coated with a spicy floss topped with tropical lychee, peaches and pickled mango, and Ital Stew ($23), a medley of market vegetables, herbs and spices simmered in coconut milk and served with rice and peas.
With more outdoor seating set amongst lush greenery, we promise you the vibe will be casual and homey – perfect for liming at any given time!
